 Man always loved to play. Gambling is in our blood and we have to satisfy the need. For this, man invented many games and forms of gambling. One of them is represented by card games.
Card games are the oldest modern forms of gambling. Card games are played since man invented paper. With time many card game forms have evolved. Many games have formed that are based on cards. Card games were played in meetings, by important people. When casinos showed up, card games where the base of them.
Card games are not so known. They do not make the base of an everyday chatter. People do not talk about them. People just play them. Card games are there in everybody's mind, but our mind is not forced to think about them, so we do not talk about them. Everybody knows that even casinos offer card games, but no one mentions them separately. They are so old and common, that we do not even notice their existence. They are like eating.
On the other side of the coin we can see card games as superstars. Card games represent style, arrogance, fun and many other attributes. Gangsters, mafia members, pirates and other independent personalities play card games. They are reflected somehow in these games. It's not a miracle. The main occupation of persons against the law is gambling. Now it is understandable that they choose the base form of gambling to show their viewpoint.
We can see these things in movies. The bad characters, gangsters and persons against the law always play card games. Card games are the main occupation of mafia members and the favorite entertainment of the rich. Unbelievably much movies contain parts that are about card games. If a character tries his or her luck, the action is probably takes place in a casino. When someone wins a lot of money in films, he wins with the help of card games. Also the head of a mafia organization is showed with a big cigarette and playing cards. Card games express many things and these things come handy in movies.
Now in conclusion we can see that card games are famous. They are like an ideal superstar. Everybody knows them but they do not advertise themselves. Card games do not need advertisement. They are thought to us by our parents or older friends and we live with them every day.
