Poker calculators have been around in the market and the Poker Cruncher really measures up to the standards set by the competition, if not among the best in the range. This program runs fairly efficiently and speed is pretty fast. It also does not require Internet access to work.
The user interface of Poker Cruncher is very easy and user friendly. The application when it starts up presents the space for two players’ hole cards and five other card choices. You can choose the cards from those found near the bottom of the screen. The cards are shown by their ranking in two. If you choose any ranks then four suits will show for that card. If you select any of the four cards it will be assigned to the highlighted points on the main screen. Two hole cards must be entered for the first player and if you do not and it if left blank it will display any calculations based on random hands.
After you have all the assigned cards you select [calculate] button located near the top portion of the screen. This will produce calculations for the hands. Players can be added by selecting [+player] and they can be deleted with the [-player]. The program will work out the hands of the river automatically but you may choose to calculate the win percentages for any of the important cards such as the flop or the turn. This is done by selecting [Deal To] button. The reset button starts a new simulation.
When all the calculations done there is a chart on located near the bottom of the screen a percentage listing the likelihood of certain hands occurring. A help screen is there just in case you have a problem. |
